Police have arrested two absconders who were evading arrest for a long time in Jammu Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police said on Thursday a police party in Aishmuqam arrested two absconders identified as Fareed Shah a resident of Reshbal Aishmuqam and Showkat Ahmed Shah of Latroo Aishmuqam.
“Both the accused were involved in the case under section 147, 348, 354 RPC and under section 454, 380 RPC of Police Station Aishmuqam, respectively”, police said.
The duo were later produced before the court of Law. A general warrant of arrest was issued by the court against them, police said.
