Srinagar: Police detained a priest of local mosque in Pulwama district for allegedly involving in unnatural sex with a minor boy.
The police spokesman said that the priest was arrested after the mother of victim lodged a complaint with local police station today morning. .
“A woman resident of Pulwama reported to local police station that her minor son was forcibly subjected to unnatural sex by a priest. Accordingly the police acted on complaint and arrested the accused,” said the spokesman.
He said during preliminary investigations, the victim also confirmed the unnatural act of local priest on him.
“In police station Pulwama the case has been registered under FIR no. 321/15 in this regard after his arrest”.
