Police solve burglary case, 6 arrested in J&K’s Kulgam

Police solved a burglary case with the arrest of six persons involved in the crime and recovery of stolen property from their possession in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashjmir on Thursday.


Police registered a case and started an investigation after it received a burglary complaint.


During the investigation, six suspected persons were zeroed in who later on confessed their involvement in the commission of crime.


The accused have been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Lone a resident of Boh, D H Pora, Mohammad Amin Wani, Mohammad Amin Malik, Mohd Ishaq Malik all residents of D K Marag, Mohammad Aslam Bargath of Rajouri, and Nazir Ahmad Lone of Suilkhenan D K Marag.


Subsequently, all the six accused persons were arrested and shifted to Police Station Kulgam where they remain in custody, police said.


On their disclosure stolen property including four Animals was recovered. A vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.


Further investigation of the case is in progress as more arrests and recoveries are expected, they added.
