Protests, Clashes Continue in Mufti’s Constituency

Islamabad: With police refusing to release the youth detained for their alleged involvement in protests, the South Kashmir’s Anantnag town is witnessing intense clashes at several places as angry protesters are forcing people to shut their business. Reports said that the protesters are using public address systems and asking shopkeepers to shut their shops and protests against the nocturnal raids by police.  Large number of people including women and children are protesting in Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s constituency against the arrest of youth who protested in last several days against the killing of young trucker Zahid Rasool in Jammu by Hindu Fanatics.
