With the arrest of three persons, Punjab police on Friday claimed to have busted a fake passport racket used for help gangsters
or criminals to flee from the law of the country.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested persons were identified as Onkar Singh, Sukhjinder Singh and Prabhjot Singh. The arrests were made
by the Anti-gangster task force (AGTF).
According to the police the gang was having linkages in Delhi, UP, Kolkata, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Police have also seized a number of fake passports and rounded up five more associates.
FIR has been registered and further investigation was on, police added.
