Rahul Gandhi lambasted Sam Pitroda for his remarks about 1984 riots. Rahul while addressing a poll rally in Fathgarh Sahib constituency said that what he,[Sam Pitroda] had said was wrong, and should seek an apology from the country.
Last week while talking to some reporters Pitroda had made a controversial statement regarding 1984 riots by saying ”hua to hua” [whatever happened, happened]. These remarks from the congress party’s member had drawn out sharp criticism from both its own party men and BJP leaders.
PM Modi while addressing a rally in Rohtak, Haryana had aggressively taken a jibe on Pitroda’s statement. He said that these sayings from one of the Congress man expose the party’s character, and shows how much arrogant the Congress party men are.
This was for the second time that the Congress Party Chief Rahul Gandhi had hit out at Pitroda.
Prior to this, on Friday he had said that Pitroda’s remarks were completely out of line, and demanded that he should apologise for the words he had spoken.
