Police Prevent Separatists from Visiting South Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 21, CNS: Police Wednesday prevented many separatist leaders from visiting the residence of Zahid Rasool Bhat of Batingo who lost his life in a petrol bomb attack in Udhampur.
In a joint statement to CNS, senior separatist leaders including General Secretary Hurriyat Conference Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Islamic Political Party Chairman Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Muslim Democratic League President Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Bashir Andrabi Head Kashmir Freedom Front and Tehreeq Mazahamat Chairman Bilal Sidique said they were even not allowed to visit the graveyard where large contingent of police and Para-military troopers had been deployed to restrict the movement of the common people.
These leaders castigated the police action on  JKLF Chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik, JKLF (H) Chief Senior Hurriyat Leader Javaid Ahmad Mir and other leaders including Mohammad Ahsan Untoo and Shabir Dar.
Leaders observed that fanatics have been given free hand now even in disputed Kashmir and radical Hindutva forces are unleashing reign of terror.
The leaders also paid glowing tributes to 51 martyrs of Bijbehra Massacre on their 23rd anniversary and stated that people from all corners of Kashmir have rendered sacrifices in freedom struggle. (CNS)
