Sgr-Leh Highway, Mughal Road Open for Traffic

The authorities have allowed the movement of traffic on Historic Mughal Road and strategic Srinagar-Leh highway after it remained suspended for several days due to inclement weather conditions.
According to traffic police Srinagar-Leh highway was allowed last evening. They said that vehicles stranded at Drass, for the past three days were allowed to move towards Srinagar after the road was cleared for smooth passage yesterday.
They said vehicles from the Kashmir valley will be allowed to move towards Leh only when all stranded vehicles on other side of the Zojila are cleared today.
