Sri Lanka will hold a donor conference with China, India and Japan as it seeks overseas assistance to overcome the worst economic crisis since independence.
“We need the support of India, Japan and China who have been historic allies,” the Daily Mirror newspaper on Thursday quoted Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe as saying.
Sri Lanka is desperately seeking global help to overcome its worst economic meltdown.
