Hardoi, (UNI): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said the Samajwadi Party is responsible for playing with national security by protecting and giving shelter to the terrorists. Addressing a public meeting in Hardoi, Yogi Adityanath said, “A Gujarat court has convicted 38 people in the Ahmedabad blasts case.
Of these, 8 have a connection with Azamgarh. Of these 8 convicts, a convict’s father is an active Samajwadi Party worker and is campaigning for the party. SP Chief should give a clarification and apologise before the public.” Mounting his attack, Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party of giving shelter to the terrorists and said, “Before 2017, Uttar Pradesh was all about anarchy, riots, terror, loot, corruption and hooliganism.
We have dedicatedly worked with a policy of ‘zero-tolerance’ to eliminate terror from the state and to enable the state’s development.” The CM said the Akhilesh government was not interested in the upliftment of the poor, protection of women, and jobs and employment to youth.
The SP was more concerned about the terrorists who attacked Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya, High courts and CRPF camps. “Cases lodged against them were taken back by the SP when it came to power in 2012,” he said, adding that during SP regime, mafia and goons used to fly in helicopters and were honoured.
He went on to say that those who looted your schemes, ate poor’s ration, pocketed funds for roads and electricity and pension for widows and elderly, and arrogated houses of the poor are being searched by us. We have a stick of development in one hand and a lever of bulldozer against the mafia in the other.
Yogi further hit out at the previous SP government headed by Akhilesh Yadav for ruining the state by indulging in politics of appeasement, casteism, corruption, terror and fear.
“The criminals used to roam freely on the streets without fear”, he said. Asserting that electricity was only provided on certain festivals to please a ‘particular community’, the CM said that, “Earlier electricity was provided with the objective of pleasing a ‘particular community’, today be it Holi, Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Janmashtami, Shivratri or Rakshabandhan, every house gets electricity, there is no discrimination done in providing electricity to people.”
He added that every district holds an equal importance for the BJP and this is why every poor deprived of electricity was given electricity connections, and cables are being laid in all the villages and rural areas.
Stating that the daughters and the women of the state will teach SP a lesson by not voting for them, Yogi said, “I want to ask should we support the bicycle which is used to make innocent people victims of terror incidents.
Our sisters and daughters will puncture their (SP’s) cycle forever.” Maintaining that the funds meant for the development of the state were sent to the “itra wale mitra”, Yogi added “The previous government gobbled up all the money for the state’s development in their ‘Qila like houses’.
Furthermore, Yogi Adityanath said Samajwadi Party’s name is Samajwadi but the work is ‘dangawadi’ and the thought process is ‘parivaarvadi’. They only developed their family and let the rest go to hell. “Aise hi nahi main unhe ‘abbajaan’ kehta tha,” he remarked.
“They’re (Opposition) trying their best to stop BJP, but BJP has your (public’s) blessings. We will cross the 325-seat mark in UP again, but it can only happen when BJP’s lotus will bloom in Hardoi,” said the CM. Stating that those trying to stop BJP from forming the government again are the ones who are a protectors of criminals and enemies of the nation, CM Yogi remarked, “BJP toh ab bullet train ki tarah chalegi, aur pradesh ka vikas aasmaan chhuyega.”
Declaring that Uttar Pradesh’s Covid-19 management fared well in comparison to many other states and countries, the CM said, “Under PM Modi’s leadership the most populous state contained the pandemic efficiently. People are being provided free vaccines, free testing facilities and free treatment along with free double-dose of food grains.
The improved health care services under BJP’s last 5-year rule paid dividends during the trying times of covid-19.” Lashing out at the previous governments of SP and BSP for the poor law and order situation in their regime, Adityanath remarked, “Before 2017, only anarchy and riots prevailed in the state. Be it SP or BSP, Congress or any other party, they did not care to protect our daughters or poor farmers, their sympathies were only with criminals and goons.”
Yogi also commented that the Samajwadi Party failed to ensure safety and security to the daughters of the state, the daughters could not go to school, even the traders were scared of moving out late in the evening.
“The youth had no jobs, women felt unsafe, farmers got no respect and the poor were deprived of resources”, he added. Announcing that BJP will ensure tablets/smartphones in hands of every youth after March 10, Yogi Adityanath said, “Today, when BJP is distributing smartphones and tablets to 1 crore youth, Samajwadi Party has given a report to the EC that these gadgets shouldn’t be distributed to youth. Don’t worry, if we come to power again, we’ll distribute it to 2 crore youth, our youth will be smart.
The more they will oppose making our youth smarter, we will increase the number of smartphones/tablets to be distributed.” Yogi said the double engine government of UP waived loans of over 1,22,847 farmers from Hardoi.
Similarly, 7,14,382 farmers of Hardoi are getting Rs 6,000 annually under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Over 60,117 people got houses in the district under the PM/CM Awas Yojana, he pointed out.
