A suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found along Srinagar-Baramulla national highway on Wednesday morning, officials said.
They said the suspect object was found near Pattan area by the road opening party of forces.
Soon, the security forces cordoned the area and the traffic on the highway was suspended.
The bomb disposal squad is on job, officials added.
