A suspicious object was detected and safely neutralised on Saturday in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
They said the suspicious object was found on the Safapora–Ganderbal road triggering precautionary measures. The area was immediately cordoned off by security forces to ensure public safety, and traffic movement was restricted as a precaution.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was summoned who later neutralised the object in a controlled manner.
