US President Donald Trump said that all American military personnel, hardware, and assets would remain stationed in their respective positions across Iran until the Islamic Republic reaches a “real agreement” with Washington, which is fully complied with, threatening harsher attacks if the terms are not met.
“All US Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded Enemy, will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with,” Trump wrote in a lengthy post on Truth Social.
Noting the continued deployment of US military resources in Iran, Trump acknowledged that it was part of a wider pressure campaign by Washington, intended to ensure compliance with the terms of the agreement, and putting a halt to all hostilities, warning that any deviation from the agreement would result in intensified military action.
“If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the ‘Shootin’ Starts,’ bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before,” Trump wrote, reiterating that as per the deal, Iran will have “NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and, the Strait of Hormuz will be OPEN AND SAFE.”
“In the meantime our great Military is Loading Up and Resting, looking forward, actually, to its next Conquest,” Trump added.
