JAKFED organizes awareness programme

JAMMU: To commemorate the Vigilance Awareness Week 2015, an awareness programme was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited at Jammu here today.

 Anjana Tickoo, Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion while Managing Director, JAKFED Jammu Bilal Ahmed Bhat, presided over the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Anjana Tickoo elaborated the provisions of “Preventive Vigilance as a tool for Good Governance” which is theme of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2015. She said that fight against corruption is seen as a job of few anti corruption agencies whereas in reality it is responsibility of every citizen and organization. She stressed upon all the departmental officers to widely disseminate the information on cooperative act and rules in order to eradicate the menace of corruption

          Special Secretary to Cooperative Department Kamla Devi, Joint Registrar Audit, Jammu R. K. Thapa, Deputy Registrar Cooperative Department, Naresh Kumar also spoke on the occasion.

The function was attended by the officers/officials of the Cooperative department.
