Islamabad: In an ensuing clashes in several towns of South Kashmir, a youth Bitta Dar has been critically injured. Sources said that Dar was injured after he was hit by a pellet in his head during clashes between Security Forces and local youth who are protesting against the killing of Zahid Rasool in Udhampur attack by right wing Hindus.

After receiving pellets, the locals evacuated him to district Hospital Anantnag where doctors referred him to Srinagar SKIMS. However, the attendant of Bitta told The Legitimate that on way to Srinagar his condition was worsening prompting them to shift him to Awantipora Hospital where he is under treatment.   

Meanwhile, despite severe restrictions, the people today staged the massive protest s against the killing of Zahid Rasool in afternoon. Reports said that hundreds of people especially youth in Achidora village of Aanantnag defied the restrictions amidst heavy deployment of Security Forces attempted to stage the protests. The clashes between the Police, Paramilitary forces and protesting youth were continue till last reports came in.
