The Indian army on Wednesday said that two Pakistani soldiers got killed in a cross border firing in Uri sector of North Kashmir.

The sources in the army said that the Indian army retaliated to ‘unprovoked’ firing from Pakistan in the Garhi Dupatta area of Chakhoti.

The two soldiers who were killed belonged to the Artillery unit and sources said that the same unit was involved in ceasefire violations in the past in the same sector.
