National Conference leader and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Tanvir Sadiq on Wednesday said the Omar Abdullah Government will play its role in ensuring peace by making people partners instead of intimidating and threatening them.
Sadiq who is also Chief Spokesperson of NC said this, while addressing a public meeting in Srinagar.
He said the Government will ensure peace by making people partners.
The NC leader said providing relief from the hardships, sufferings, bullying and oppression, the people have had to go through since 2015, is the main manifesto of NC.
“The Government has started providing relief to the people as soon as it came into existence and with the cooperation of the people, the government will fulfill all the promises made before the elections”, he asserted.
Sadiq said the NC government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will present the budget for the first time and the way he held meetings with all the stakeholders including public representatives on the budget is commendable.
The NC MLA hoped that the budget would be ”people friendly and youth oriented”.
