Today Baramulla assembly segment Congress Core group members meeting was held at Dak Banglow Baramulla. The meeting was presided by Mir Iqbal Ahmad State youth Congress General Secretary.
The meeting took place almost for entire day and detailed discussion and debate took place. The main agenda of the meeting was how to strengthen party at grass root level. And calender was made to reach out all the booths of the assembly segment in coming days so that the failure of the incumbent govt would be brought to public.
Beside this a resolution was also passed by the core group in which the brutal rape and murder of eight year old Asifa was condemned. Demand was also made that the recent decision of cabinet about the death penalty in case of rape of child below 12 years old should be given retrospective effect so that criminal’s involved in Asifa’s case can be hanged.
The meeting was also attended by Fayaz Ahmad Mir District Gen secretary Baramulla , Ab Hamid Dar Block president Narwav, Mohd Sultan Bhat Block president Baramulla, Jasbir Kour , Youth leader Omar Kakroo, Mohd Isamil Chache, Adv Zubair Shah, Nisar Ahmad and others.
