Srinagar: A special police officer (SPO) was arrested in connection with molestation charges and giving life threats to a woman in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday.
Official sources told GNS that the SPO Gulzar Ahmad Paul (belt no 374/Sgr) son of Abdul Majeed Paul of Zawoora Shopian has been arrested by police station Ganderbal in connection with an FIR 69/2018 under section 354 D, 506, 509 RPC.
A police officer when contacted confirmed the arrest of the SPO and said that investigation into the case was going on. (GNS)
