Chief Secretary Says Polls As Per Schedule, Refutes Deferment Reports

Srinagar: Chief secretary Jammu and Kashmir BVR Subrahmanyam on Wednesday refuted the reports of deferment of panchayat and municipal polls in the state.

Talking to reporters at SKICC Srinagar Chief Secretary said that the polls will be held as per schedule.

“There will be no change in the date of municipal and panchayat polls.,” he said.
