Kathua Police Rescued 29 Persons Trapped In Flood, Rescue Operation Going On

Kathua: In view of inclement weather, incessant rain and flash flood in rivers, Kathua police has launched rescue operations in different parts of Kathua especially vulnerable  points to rescue trapped persons and prevent any casualty.
Kathua police and SDRF so far saved eighteen precious lives trapped in flood water.
Seven family members of one siddique  were rescued from Ujh river in nagri area and one person namely Mohd Sharif S/o Noor Ahmed  was rescued from Ujh river in Chabbe Chak area of Rajbagh Kathua.Besides, police rescued 10 persons and about 200 bovines trapped in flooded river in Jakhole area.
In another rescue operation in Billawar 11 precious lives including 7 childrenwere rescued at Beral. Kathua Police is on high alert to meet any exigency due to flood.
Police teams are deployed at vulnerable points.Helpline numbers were also flashed to report any flood incident to police for timely action.
