Junaid Defends His Move To Contest ULB Polls

Srinagar: Former National Conference spokesman Junaid Matoo today said that NC and PDP should also boycott the Assembly polls too and that his decesion to desert the part was right.
Meanwhile, on the call of Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, all the poll bound areas witnessed complete strike.
According to official figures Srinagar areas witnessed a thin voting while as voting in Anantnag district was almost zero. However in Saderkoot, Bandipora long queues were witnessed since wee hours.
The authorities had also snapped internet facility in Srinagar and southern  parts as a precautionary measure, an official told (KNO).
