Srinagar: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industries head by its president, Sheikh Ashiq on Saturday led a protest against the Human Rights violation in the Valley. According to KNO correspondent, scores of KCC&I members headed by its president Sheikh Ashiq assembled at Srinagar’s Press Enclave and chanted slogans against the HR violations.

The protest was called in response of the call given by Joint resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in view of ‘World Human Rights Day’.

The members of KCC&I said that there must be an immediate end to the human rights violation in the State as thousands of people have been killed, maimed and blinded in the State so far.

“Even the 18-month-old baby was not spared as she lost her eyesight due to pellet injury in her right eye,” they said, adding that Human rights organizations should take notice over such violations here and help in putting an end to the violations.(KNO)
