Baramulla: Government Forces on early Thursday launched a cordon-and-search operation in Mahin North Kashmir’s Tangmarg village on Thursday.
Reports said that joint team of Army 2 RR, SOG Special Operation Group of Police and CRPF sealed Maheen village of Tangmarg and conducted door to door search operation in the area. Local reports said whole area is under cordon which affects public and transport movement in the area.
Police official also confirmed to KNO, said that following inputs about the presence of militants movement in the area search operation has been launched, he added that as of now no contact with militants has been established.(KNO)
