Srinagar: Muslim League Jammu Kashmir has paid rich tribute to “Quaid-e-Azam” Mohammad Ali Jinnah on his birth anniversary today.
“December 25 is of great importance because on this day Muslims of South Asia witnessed unusual dawn when towering personality Mohammad Ali Jinnah was born,” Muslim League spokesperson Sajad Ayoubi said in a statement issued to GNS.
“Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the one man, who led from the front and gave us Pakistan which is the ray of hope for whole Muslim Ummah,” Ayoubi said.
He said the lifestyle and upright character of Muhammad Ali Jinnah is full of efforts of uniting Muslim Ummah under one umbrella, and transforming Pakistan into a model state, the spokesperson said and stressed upon the people and Government of Pakistan to reiterate the resolve for reviving Quaid’s thoughts and move forward with his ideas.
“Pakistan is facing a lot external and internal challenges and conspiracies hatched against it by enemies who want to destabilize it. People and govt of Pakistan should follow the Quaid-e-Azam and defeat their enemies, fullfill the main aim and objective for which Pakistan came into existence,” Ayoubi said.
The ML spokesperson said Jinnah’s Kashmir policy is the “best roadmap” for the settlement of this long-pending dispute.
He appealed to the government of Pakistan to follow the Kashmir policy of “Quaid-e-Azam” so that Kashmir dispute is resolved.
“Pakistan has always supported the people of Kashmir at all levels,” he said and expressed hope that the government of Pakistan would leave no stone unturned to use its good offices on all diplomatic and political levels for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute. (GNS)
