Sumbal Minor Rape: Sajad Lone Demands Strict Punishment Against Accused, Speaks To Guv

Srinagar: Amid growing outrage over horrific rape of a 3-year-old girl in Trigam Sumbal, Peoples Conference (PC) Chairman Sajad Gani Lone on Sunday raised the issue with J&K Governor and demanded stern punishment for the accused.

In a series of tweets, Lone said he has spoken with Governor over the issue and demanded that accused should be dealt sternly.

Talked to honourable Governor and requested that the perpetrator of the ghastly crime against a three year child b strongly dealt with. And also requested that protestors not b dealt with force. These protests r natural and instinctive outpouring against a heinous crime,” Lone tweeted. (KNS)
