Srinagar, June 3 (UNI) A gun battle erupted between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday evening, officials said.

They said the gun battle erupted at Rishipora during a cordon and a search operation in the area following an input about the presence of militants in the area.
