Over two weeks after the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was virtually routed in the Assembly election, the party top leadership held a meeting to review the poll performance.
PDP had bagged 28 seats in 2014 Assembly polls and this time the party only won three seats.
This was the worst electoral result of the PDP since its formation 25 years back in 1999.
The meeting to review the poll performance was chaired by party president Mehbooba Mufti and attended by senior leaders and contesting candidates.
“Party President Ms. @MehboobaMufti is chairing a crucial meeting with senior leaders and contesting candidates to review the recent elections. Discussing roadmap to strengthen outreach
and better connect with the people on the ground,” the party said on X.
