Srinagar: Alkayim Islahi Forum Budgam today organized a Hussaini conference at Hamdania Colony Bemina in which people belonging to different shades of opinion participated.

Spokesman of the forum told KNS that many Islamic preachers and scholars delivered lectures on the occasion. Those who spoke on the occasion include Mirwaiz Central Kashmir Moulvi Lateef (Imaam Beerwah), Dr Syed Ishfaq Bukhari (Imaam Friday Ichgam), Molvi Ghulam Mohammad Gulzar (Imaam Friday Saraibala), Molvi Ghulam Ali Gulzar, Hassan Abad Srinagar, Agha Syed Yousuf, Hakeem Sajad and Hakeem Maqsood. The speakers, as per the spokesman, deliberated extensively on the philosophy of Hussaniyat and its relevance in the contemporary times. The conference was also attended by a good number of people from the Sikh community, who claimed to have learned a lot from the speakers in the conference.
