An Army jawan allegedly died by suicide late Sunday night at an Army camp in Jammu Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials said a soldier identified as Lance Naik Bhawar Lal Saran from Rajasthan shot himself with his service rifle during the night hours at Gulmarg. The body was later taken to a medical facility.
The cause behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained, they said.
