A motorcyclist was killed while another sustained injuries when the bike they were riding hit a road divider on Ring Road in the Sohanjana area on the city outskirts.
Police said the motorcycle hit a divider on Ring Road in Sohanjana, under the Mandal area of Satwari.
According to police, one Mohammad Amir Salaria of Ambaran, Akhnoor, Jammu, died on the spot, while another unidentified person sustained serious injuries.
Both were shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for necessary medico-legal formalities and treatment, police added.
