The Huriyat Chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Monday said that Asma, daughter of senior separatist leader Shabir Ahmad Shah is the role model for the young generation in Kashmir. Asma secured the top position in 12th class CBSE exams last week.
He expressed his heartfelt congratulations to her on “brilliant” success in the 12th CBSE examination by seeking the top position.
He termed her successes as a role model for the young student generation of Jammu Kashmir. The Hurriyat leader saluted the courage and steadfastness of Asma Shabir who against all odds, and in absence of her father managed a herculean task to stand first in the queue of grand success achievers.
Geelani nominated a high-level delegation comprising of Hakim Ab Rashid, Syed M Shafi and Syed Imtiaz to felicitate Asma.
Meanwhile, Geelani expressed condolences to Pir Ab Rashid, office superintendent (APHC) on the demise of his cousin Pir Gh Hassan Akhrani. Geelani prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
