The bodies of all 20 Turkish soldiers killed in the military aircraft crash in Georgia have been found, the Turkish Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
On Tuesday, the Turkish Defense Ministry said that a Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft crashed in Georgia. On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the bodies of 19 soldiers killed in the crash were found.
“As a result of search operations at the site of the military transport aircraft crash on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border, the body of the 20th killed serviceman was discovered,” the ministry said in a statement.
