Army Major, BSF Head Constable Injured Along LoC

Srinagar: An army major and a head constable of Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday sustained injuries in an incident of cross border firing on Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri sector.

Sources told KNO that in this afternoon, incident of cross border firing took place at Balakote Tarkundi forward in Rajouri sector on Line of Control.

” Army major and a BSF head constable got injured in firing,” sources said, adding that both the injured were shifted to medical center of Army and later were airlifted to Army’s command hospital.

They received injury at a forward location of LoC, which is located opposite to Pakistan’s forward posts on LoC, sources added.(KNO)
