The death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2 has reached 1,116, with 3,229 others injured, according to a report from the Lebanese Health Ministry.
“The overall death toll as a result of the aggression since March 2 has reached 1,116, and the number of injured has reached 3,229,” the report said.
It said that 22 people have been killed and 110 injured in the past 24 hours.
The escalation between Israel and Hezbollah began overnight on March 2, 2026, when the Lebanese movement resumed missile attacks on Israeli territory amid a sharp deterioration in the regional situation.
In response, Israel launched large-scale strikes against Lebanon, including the southern regions of the country, the Bekaa Valley, and the outskirts of Beirut. On March 16, the Israeli army officially announced the start of a ground operation in southern Lebanon.
