Date:

While supporting the shutdown call given by Hurriyat (G) chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Tuesday, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Sunday condemned the desecration of graves in Karimabad Pulwama.

DeMAs per Hizb statement issued to agencies, chairing a Hizb command council and General council meeting, Hizb Chief Syed Salah-ud-din said, “Forces in Kashmir have been morally bankrupted due to which they are vandalizing the graves of martyrs of Kashmir.”

He said that freedom is the goal of Kashmiris. “Kashmiri people will achieve their goal at any cost,” he said.

“Taking part in the funeral processions of militants clearly shows the love of people towards militants,” he said.

While reacting on the attacks on Kashmir students, Syed Salalh-ud-din warned of dire consequences. “There will be serious consequences if the harassment and assault on Kashmir students will not be stopped,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson Aasiyeh Andrabi while supporting the shutdown call Sunday said that India was testing the patience of Kashmiri’s.

In a statement issued here she said, “A new wave of hatred and fanaticism against Kashmiri Muslims have engulfed India where our people especially students are being targeted which is a cause of concern.”

Aasiyeh Andrabi said that it was just after a “so called” government was formed, after a long drama, “Hindu fanatics” are encouraged to such an extent that they started harassing Kashmiri’s even in Kashmir not to talk of Indian states where harassment of Kashmiri’s has become a norm.(Agencies)
