Dental Unit Set Up In Lolab, People Thank DC Kupwara

Srinagar: District Administration Kupwara on Thursday established a Dental unit at New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Lalpora area of Lolab.

Officials told GNS said that the administration has set up the dental unit at the PHC Lolab which was the long pending demand of the people.

The local residents had apprised the Deputy Commissioner Khalid Jehangir about several demands on his visit to the area two days ago and included one regarding it.

The locals said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, the health authorities established the Dental care unit at Lalpora.

“We hope that few more demands which we brought into the notice of DC are also redressed immediately,” they said.

The locals said that among the demands include playground which the youth of the area have high hopes to be redressed soon.

“In past years whatever issues we raised with the Deputy Commissioner never went unheard. The officer uses all efforts to help the people particularly the downtrodden section of the society,” the locals said.

Meanwhile, the people of the frontier Lolab area hailed Deputy Commissioner’s role and thanked him along the concerned BMO Dr Firdous regarding the setting up of the dental unit. (GNS)
