A dismissed cop from Punjab police and a woman were arrested in Sirsa with 106 grams of heroin and Rupees seventy five thousand drug money, police said on Tuesday.
Police DSP Uday Singh Meena told media that the arrested accused were identified as Amardeep Singh and Rajni.
He said that they were arrested at Burnala Road when police intercepted a car.
Police said that the preliminary investigation suggested that they had brought heroin from Tarn Tarn district of Punjab and it was to be supplied in Sirsa and surrounding areas.
He said that a NDPS case has been registered against both the accused and the investigation was on.
