As many as five soldiers were killed when an army vehicle met with an accident and fell into a deep gorge on Tuesday in the Mendhar sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Five soldiers lost their lives after an army vehicle met with an accident in the Poonch sector,” Jammu-based White Knight Corps posted on X.
It further posted on X that rescue operations are ongoing and the injured personnel are receiving medical care.
“All ranks of White Knight Corps extend their deepest condolences on the tragic loss of five brave soldiers in a vehicle accident during operational duty in the Poonch sector,” it further posted.
