Jammu, April 17 (UNI) Former Ranji Trophy player from Jammu and Kashmir Pranav Mahajan has died of cardiac arrest here on Sunday, said an official.
Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Administrator, Brig Anil Gupta tweeted, “JKCA is shocked to learn of the sad and sudden demise of Pranav Mahajan, ex Ranji player. Our heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family.”
However, it is learnt that the cricketer had died of sudden cardiac failure.
Meanwhile pall of gloom has gripped the cricket fraternity and condolences are being poured from across the Union Territory.
