“There is no question of compromising on it .We are here to safeguard and protect the Article 370 and Article 35A. Question Hour is meant for raising issues of public interest in the House. Please stop creating disruptions,” Bukhari, also holds the charge of Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, informed the House.

“Go and read the rules. What are you shouting for?” he asked the Opposition.
Bukhari said the Opposition is not serious in speaking on issues of public interest.
“They (the opposition) only want to disrupt the House. It is not necessary to adjourn the Question Hour. Article 35A is sub-judice and there are rules which must be followed,” he said.
Later talking to KNS, the law minister said that the Government will not do anything “like NC did by selling” autonomy, power projects.
“Before levelling allegations against us on disempowering the Assembly, they should go by the history and see what they have sold. They sold the power of Assembly in 1975 by stating that there would be no change in the constitution of J&K without the consent of president of India.”(KNS)
