Srinagar: Describing the outraging of chastity of a 3-year -old minor girl in Sumbal as crime against humanity, Peoples Conference general secretary Imran Reza Ansari on Sunday demanded severe punishment for the accused.
Ansari said: “Our heads should hang in shame over the horrific crime in the holy month of Ramadan. When Muslims across the world are fasting, a beast in our society outraged chastity of a 3-year-old kid. We need to rise above political and religious affiliations and fight for justice for the kid.”
Ansari said the need of hour is to set up a fast track court for punishing the accused.
He also demanded action against the school for issuing fake date of birth of certificate to show that the accused was minor.
