Hurriyat (M) Condemns Threat Calls To GK

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference (M) has expressed concern over the threatening calls to the Jammu staff of daily Greater Kashmir, stating such an act is a direct attack on the freedom of press.
A Hurriyat (M) spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS expressed solidarity with the staff members of the daily and said strict action should be taken against criminals following an impartial probe.
Meanwhile, the amalgam has paid glowing tributes to Molvi Showkat Ahmad Shah on his anniversary.
“Showkat Ahmad Shah will remain as a symbol of unity among Kashmiri masses. His charismatic and multi-dimensional personality is unforgettable and no can ever overlook his sacrifices in the struggle,” he said. (GNS)
