Srinagar: General officer Commanding (GoC) of Srinagar based 15 Corps Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon Monday said that Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) is known for making huge sacrifices for the J&K and rest of the nation. He hailed 404 recruits who passed out from course and became riflemen at JAKLI here.

Today, 404 recruits have become riffle men, I salute these people, their parents, all media men for their support,” the GoC.

He said that JAKLI is different from other regiments in the country as it has people from all religions as its part which makes it as a ‘min-India’.
