Alert troops of Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday eliminated one Pakistani intruder along the international border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that while maintaining a high alert along the international border in view of the Republic Day celebrations, BSF troops during wee hours noticed a suspicious movement along the international border in Chak Majra village of Ramgarh sector in Samba.
“The intruder was shot dead by the BSF troops,” they said, adding that he was identified as Mohammad Arif of Lahore.
The body has been shifted for postmortem while more details are awaited, they said.
