Srinagar, (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday recorded 771 new positive cases of Covid-19 while seven persons succumbed to the virus, officials said.
They said 408 positive cases of the virus were reported from Jammu Division and 363 from Kashmir.
There were seven deaths reported from the Union Territory since Monday including 5 from Jammu and 2 from Srinagar.
Meanwhile, 3,330 Covid-19 patients recovered – 1,297 from Jammu and 2,033 from Kashmir valley and were discharged, they said.
The official said 66,958 Covid-19 tests were conducted in the Union Territory besides 56,021 doses of Covid vaccine administered bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 2,08,78,223.
There were 12,358 active positive cases in the UT including 4,074 in Jammu division and 8,284 in Kashmir valley, they said.
