Two persons were killed and six injured when a passenger taxi they were traveling in met with an accident on Wednesday in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that the cab while on its way from Chasoti towards Gulabgarh in Padder met with an accident at Chasoti resulting in the death of two persons and injuries to six persons.
Police and locals immediately launched the rescue operation.
The deceased were identified as Akshay Kumar and Parveen Kumar, both residents of Chasoti.
The injured namely Shri Kant, Akshay Kumar, Pawan Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Jewan Singh and Vijay Kumar were rushed to the Sub District Hospital, Atholi, Paddar.
