JKPM Leader Shehla Rashid Extends Support To Independent Candidate Sajjad Hussain (Kargili) In Lok Sabha Elections

Srinagar: JKPM leader Shehla Rashid has extended her support to an independent candidate from Kargil, Sajjad Hussain who will contest for Lok Sabha election from Kargil-Leh parliamentary seat which is currently unrepresented after the BJP MP Thupstan Chhewang resigned from his post, citing BJP’s betrayal over Union Territory status to Ladakh.
Shehla in a tweet congratulated Sajjad Hussain and wished him victory. Sajjad Hussain (Kargili) is likely to file his nomination for the said Lok Sabha seat tomorrow Thursday 18th April.
Shehla Rashid in a statement to the Press said that more idealistic youth like Sajjad Kargili should come into politics so that the genuine issues of people can be brought to the forefront.
