Shot Dead

At around 10:30 pm on Monday night, a journalist was shot at Ghaziabad near Delhi. The chilling incident was captured by the CCTV camera.

The journalist—Vikram Joshi—was travelling on a motorcycle with his two daughters when a group of men assaulted him and opened fire at him.

Joshi received a bullet injury on his head and is in critical condition at a private hospital.

Five people have been arrested in connection with the attack on the UP journalist.

Meanwhile, the daughters can be seen running away. The assailants then drag Joshi towards a car and hit him before they flee the spot.

As Joshi lies on the road, one of his daughters rushes to him and can be seen crying and screaming for help.

The terrified girl sits on the road next to her father, trying to stop vehicles or people passing by. A couple of people can then be seen rushing to the injured man.

The incident took place at around 10:30 in the night.

Media reports suggest that the attack on Joshi could have taken place after he, recently, complained to the police about his niece being harassed by a group of men. TNS
