Srinagar: Lashkar chief Mehmood Shah has expressed grief over the death of Bilal Kakapori, who was Pulwama district president of Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM).

In an emailed statement to KNS, spokesman of LeT Dr Abdullah Gaznavi has quoted Mehmood Shah saying that his sympathies were with MDM president Dr Mohammad Qasim Fuktoo for whom the death of Kakapori would undoubtedly be a painful moment. LeT chief, as per the statement, has prayed for peace and heavenly abode for Kakapori and all other ‘martyrs’.

LeT chief, as per the statement, described Kakapori as a staunch activist of freedom movement who remained engaged throughout his life for the cause. (KNS)
